Oak Ridge capped an undefeated week with a 25-11, 25-19, 25-11 sweep of Conroe Friday evening in District 13-6A.

The War Eagles (31-9, 8-4) strung together two straight wins for the first time since mid-September when they took wins over Caney Creek and then Willis.

Conroe (11-22, 3-8) has dropped five of its last seven matches.

Oak Ridge, which swept New Caney earlier this week, came out flying in the first set with nine kills, four aces and five blocks. It added 11 more team kills in the second set before maxing out in the third set with 13 team kills.

Santiago led the War Eagles in kills with 10. She added 11 digs for the double-double and also served up three aces.

Leila Ceaser had seven kills and three aces.

Micah Rusher had seven kills (six in the first two sets).

Riley Dube derived up a team-high five aces while adding 10 digs.

Guen Blackburn led in assists with 17 while Bradi Rhodes had 14 and seven digs.

Carli Glover finished with six kills.

The War Eagles are 37-3 against Conroe since 2006 and have won five straight matches over the Tigers – including three this season – since the beginning of the 2023.

Oak Ridge has a bye on Tuesday before playing host to rival and district leader Grand Oaks at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
